Reading: “Who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself”—Philippians 3:21

Thus our Lord taught His Disciples, by His appearance at His transfiguration, that there is such a thing as a spiritual body; while, by the glory of His raiment, in addition to His other miracles, He taught them that He had power over the laws of nature, and could, in His own good time, “change the bodies of their humiliation, that they might be made like unto His glorious body, according to the working whereby He is able to subdue all things unto Himself” (Philippians 3:21)
